With the first and, at the time, only production product – the EMDE-LIFT flexible screw conveyor – the foundation stone was laid in August 1980 for a worldwide-renowned company with various spheres of action in many industries.
In the first years after foundation, the product range was very quickly extended with further plant components for bulk material handling. The Big Bag has become a popular bulk transport container. For this purpose, upstream and downstream stations for both emptying and filling the Big Bag were developed simultaneously.
On account of the very interesting and innovative technology, a toolmaking company specializing in the production of LSR (liquid silicon rubber) molds was acquired in 1986 and further developed.
The product portfolio and the number of customers and customer industries have grown steadily over the years. After 2010, we expanded our program with fully automatic "mixing and dosing stations" as well as with a fully automatic filling station for Big Bags.
Since 2018, the EMDE Group in Nassau has been under new entrepreneurial management. We are once again focusing on our core competencies with our proven team; bulk material technology and LSR mold making.
Today, the EMDE Group offers in total approximately 150 permanent employees an attractive and innovative work environment.
