有兩種形式的POLY齒輪泵：
a）標準型：入口法蘭是和反應器出口法蘭直連的圓形法蘭。
b）低NPSH型：齒輪泵被夾在反應器出口法蘭和泵出口的鬆套法蘭之間。這種設計提供了特別大、入口距離特別短的吸入口，大大優化了物料流入齒輪泵。入口法蘭可以是圓形、方形或其他規則圖形。
低NPSH結構吸入壓力損失取決於一係列因素，其中像粘度和流動速率完全取決於生產工藝。根據海根-泊謖葉公式，壓力損失與物料流過的距離成正比，與管路直徑的四次方成反比。Witte特有的低NPSH結構融合了這些技術，泵的入口加大，通過距離縮短。

密封形式帶填料函的真空螺旋密封
真空螺旋密封是一種特殊的螺旋密封，可帶加熱或冷卻夾套。通過針形閥來調整通往吸入側的回流量，使得堵住的熔體形成阻隔。這使它可應用在吸入側為真空的情況下。由於它是動密封，通常與帶隔離液的填料密封組合在一起，使得即使在靜止狀態下也能防止空氣進入反應器。
填料函密封
填料函是威特泵的一種簡單的靜密封。如果需要可配上密封液係統。其類似螺旋密封。填料的標準材料為帶增強柔性纖維的膨脹石墨，但也可用別的材料。
帶唇封的真空螺旋密封
作為另外一個選擇，真空螺旋密封也可與唇封組合在一起。在泵短暫停止時，靜態軸封裏的密封液相當於阻隔可以阻止空氣通過軸封進入泵內。
人字形齒輪與直齒和斜齒相比，人字形齒輪降低了輸送介質的脈動，這特別有利於聚合物。
由於物料更容易從齒間的空隙帶走，人字齒能夠更好地輸送固體顆粒含量高的物料。另外還降低了對聚合物的剪切應力。對於高敏感的聚合物來說降低齒輪齧合時對聚合物的剪切應力和溫升是非常重要的。
在用的齒輪泵也可以用我們的人字形齒輪來替換。僅需要更換滑動軸承和齒輪軸。可供尺寸範圍：從4號泵 (45/45) 到11號泵 (224/224)。
