The company W.AG Funktion + Design GmbH is headquartered in Geisa/Rhön and has currently 110 employees. W.AG was founded in 1992 by Wolfgang Wagester who is still leading the company as CEO. In the early years W.AG started as a supplier of technical injection moulding components, but then developed soon his own product range in the field of cases and boxes. The big breakthrough came in 1997 with the plastic cases TEKNO. Till today we sold worldwide over five million pieces of it.
Based on this success W.AG developped in the following years many other case and box series such as the presentation box SALSA (2001), the small product packaging SWING (2004), the heavy-duty case HEAVY (2006), the JAZZ series (2008), the portrait format case BEAT (2010), the logistics container DIXIE (2012) and the storage system MAMBO (2012). Another product line an addition to the plastic cases are the stackable storage bins FOX.
Coinciding with the case development and the continuous expansion in injection moulding and tool manufacturing was the establishment of the manufacturing competencies in the fields of foam processing and print as well as identification technologies (screen printing, pad printing, in-mold labeling). So over the years was formed in Geisa one of the most modern companies for producing multicoloured, printed and design-oriented plastic cases and transport boxes “Made in Germany”.
