HEID Antriebstechnik can look back on 130 years of experience and is specialized in the production of clutches and brakes in various designs, adapted to the requirements of our customers.
With our electromagnetic, hydraulic and pneumatic clutches and brakes we are able to cover practically all areas of industrial applications.
Development & Special Solutions
Our products and applications often represent individual and special solutions. In addition to our decades of experience, we draw on our know-how in the field of research and development. HEID offers its customers an extensive portfolio of proven standard products.
However, the focus is clearly on developing solutions for customers, which are usually different from our own and from other manufacturers' standard solutions.

SITEMA is the only company worldwide specializing in the development and production of clamping units and linear brakes acting on round rods. The deliberate focus on these often safety relevant products makes SITEMA a competent realistic and powerfull system provider with a wide range of products that offer the optimum solution for every application.
With the experience that comes from more than 160‘000 clamping units
Following its foundation in 1979, SITEMA developed the first system worldwide generating the necessary high braking forces directly at the surface of the lifting cylinder shaft. This new technology formed the basis for perfecting clamping devices for a wide range of tasks. Then as now, our watchword is: absolute functional safety.

Through consistent quality control during all process steps, we guarantee consistent product quality at a verifiably high technical level. The History
abp was founded in 1999 by Wilhelm Ploetz and Bernd Bäuerle in St. Georgen in the Black Forest. Thanks to its profound technical knowledge and excellent sales skills, the young company received the "Founder Champion" award at national level in May 2000. And the Black Forest success story continues: abp today has its headquarters in the Technology Center in St. Georgen, employs more than 20 people and is proud of an international and constantly growing customer base. In the meantime the founding members have retired. The company is now managed by Mrs. Barbara Ploetz and Mr. Werner Bösinger.
