Proxim came into being in Lublin in 1992 as a family company. The first mark offered by the company was an american paints MAXUM. With the customers requests we expanded our offer with new products such as silicons, expandidng foams, painting and building accessories. During the passage of the time the variety of the products grew and now the company offers about 2000 different products, which are localized in brands such as:
roof foils and membranes Eurowek
building foils
vertical and horizontal insulations
fiberglass mesh
rings used in productions of aluminium corners
corners to insulation systems
building chemistry -building implements and accessories
paints and decorative materials
Many of the products are imported from European Union and other parts of the world. The company has his own office and warehouse since 2002 which are localized in Lublin on the Lucyny Herc 52 street.

Since it’s start up in 1992, Wirth GmbH has been specialising in the development, production and sales of vacuum-based lifting equipment and installation systems for construction sites and industrial applications.
Today, our OKTOPUS® brand name is synonymous with energy autarkic vacuum lifting equipment for installing large-format roofing, wall, ceiling and façade panels made of sandwich, profiled sheeting and glass.
Our business also focuses on the production of edge profiles and light-weight steel sections for industrial and commercial construction, machine construction and utility and speciality vehicle manufacturing.
Our product spectrum includes not only load-bearing crossbars and purlins up to 4 mm in material thickness, but also high-precision body sheet metal up to 12,000 mm in length for buses and, of course, customised special sections made of galvanised and laminated steel, aluminium and stainless steel. We also offer treatments such as boring, stamping, nibbling, grooving, welding, lasers and powder-coating.
The quality management system at Wirth GmbH is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008.
Wirth GmbH is a member of the IFBS e.V. (Industry Association for Construction Systems in Light Weight Metal Construction).
