The DL series of the double shaft shredder can process a wide range of solid wastes.
Compare to single shaft shredder, this series has a lower speed, higher torque, and
higher efficiency. It's mainly used to process industrial waste. Maintenance is easy and
convenient since the maintenance door provides full access to the crushing chamber and
bearing housing. With the shredder being screenless, it is often used for primary
shredding and its output size depends on the blade thickness.
Two Shaft Shredder Features
Knife adopts premium alloy steel 42CrMo with high strength and toughness.
Blade of D-rotor and OM rotor adopts D2 steel, and knife adopts 42CrMo steel.
Main electrical components are trusted brands such as Siemens and Schneider.
The rotors are independently driven by motors.
Auto-reverse system re-orients rotor direction when motor overload & material jam.
Pusher Ram is optional for hollow and gigantic materials.

When roughly shredding voluminous cardboard articles and waste consisting of corrugated board, the cardboard shredders from ERDWICH are in their element, either as a preliminary stage for subsequent continuous recycling processes or for the optimal pressing efficiency of pressing systems.
The material is fed manually or via a conveying system into the machine.
The slow-speed draw-in rotor seizes the material.
The faster running ripping rotor equipped with flail type ripping elements shreds it between the two rotors.
