Founded in 1982, MEAN WELL is one of the world's few manufacturers dedicated to standard power supply products. It is ranked the 4th in global power supply (DC output) makers according to a report by Micro Technology released in March, 2021. 99% of MEAN WELL sales are of standard power supply products sold under the MEAN WELL brand name. The other three companies' products are ODM/OEM.

With 2,800 employees located at its global headquarters in New Taipei Industrial Park, Taiwan, branches and sales offices at Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Suzhou in China, California USA, and Netherlands in the EU, four production bases in New Taipei City (Taiwan), Huadu District in Guangzhou, Suzhou City in China, and Bangalore in India, MEAN WELL had a combined revenue of USD 1,351 million in 2021.

For more than 30 years, the RSG® brand stands for custom-designed switch-mode power supplies and standard DC/DC converters with an exceptional value-for-money, addressing all requirements for reliable high-quality power supply solutions.
RSG Electronic Components GmbH was initially founded in Offenbach/Main in 1988 as a special distributor for passive electronic components.Soon, the product portfolio was extended by AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies and inverters, and only few years later an own R&D for custom-designed power supply solutions up to approx. 25kW was established.
In December 2013 RSG Electronic Components GmbH became part of the British discoverIE Group (LSE: DSCV) and functions within the group as the international center of excellence for the development and production of power supplies.
Eventually, in August 2020 RSG Electronic Components GmbH was legally merged with its sister company Acal BFi Germany GmbH at their facility in Dietzenbach. From there we serve our customers in all parts of the world.
