氣壓公司建於1965年，是原國家機械部定點生產軍用和民用壓縮機產品的重點企業，是中國壓縮機協會副理事長單位。公司為國有控股企業，隸屬於機電控股（集團）公司旗下重慶機電股份有限公司，並於2008年在香港H股上市（股票代碼：2722HK）。公司是重慶市高新技術企業、創新型企業、技術創新示範企業、國防科技工業配套先進單位，擁有重慶市市級企業技術中心、重慶市壓縮機工程技術研發中心、重慶市LNG成套設備工程技術研究中心。公司擁有重慶市著名商標“CCF”和“CQ”，是集自主研發、製造、銷售、服務於一體的綜合性壓縮機製造企業。

is a subsidiary of the Kawasaki Industrial Gas Turbines Business
group. KAWASAKI has been involved
in the development, sales and service of industrial gas turbines
in the area of Kawasaki Heavy Industries since 1972. In 1998 Kawasaki
Heavy Industries Ltd., Japan, achieved revenues of USD 10 billion
world-wide and employed more than 17,000 people.
The company
KGE offers its customers a complete and tailor-made range of services
from a single supplier. In a committed and competent manner, it
plans, produces, sets up and supports energy plants primarily for
generating electricity and occasionally heat. The company registers
close to 100 installed gas turbine generator sets in Europe and
more than 5,000 world-wide and offers gas turbine generator sets
ranging from 600 to 7,000 kW (electrical) and 1,700 to 10,000 kW
(thermal).
