Development of the first inductive proximity switch in 1959, the first programmable logic controller (SECON) in 1974, the Factor-1-Sensor (IAD/AHM) with increased switching frequency, or Smart (intelligent) Sensors. This are, together with numerous further innovations, successful solutions for the challenging requirements of industrial technology.
