The portfolio of Dr. Brandt GmbH comprises numerous products with the focus laid on the accurate measurement of tensile force, compression force, shear force and torque in a wide variety of processes. For this purpose, innovative force and pressure sensors are used as transducers and load cells. Via real-time control, the data thus obtained are directly employed for process improvement. Our measuring systems can also be retrofitted in existing plants and equipment.

In the paper and sheet/film manufacturing industry, continuous monitoring of production processes by means of precise measuring technology is decisive for product quality. Dr. Brandt GmbH specializes in the manufacture of tailor-made systems for this industrial segment. For this purpose, numerous different load cells and load measuring pins are available for construction.
The wide range of load cells, which can measure either vertically or horizontally to the mounting level, enables suitable systems to be individually developed. Our versatile load cells are particularly useful for measuring the tension of paper webs.
As an alternative to the manufacture of customized measuring technology, our product range also offers a selection of standardized components with adapter plates. These adaptable transducers can be used on optional pillow blocks or are suitably employed for a variety of applications. Both standardized and tailored systems are modern system solutions for monitoring web tension in the production of film or paper.
