Steinbach GmbH was founded by the Steinbach family in 1981. With a healthy dose of pioneering spirit and the necessary entrepreneurial vision, it subsequently developed to become a successful mid-sized industrial service provider with locations in Detmold and Ulm (Germany) as well as Charlotte (USA).
In addition to technical wholesale, the company focused on the processing of elastomers for customers in the mechanical engineering, plant and vehicle construction sectors right from an early stage. This set the course for a modern finishing, manufacturing and service provision enterprise.
Today, our three business segments - Quality Membranes, Industrial Components, Bag and Foil Packaging and Foot Mats - are effective and innovative partners to our customers.
In the area of foot mats and runners, Steinbach AG is setting new standards using computer-aided cutting for irregularly shaped contours.

The Elke Plastic GmbH is a german based company with offices in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Founded in 1972 by Erwin Turkovic in Rielasingen (Germany) the company started to distribute LDPE foil wrappings for industry purposes. Between 1988 and 1994 the three sons Andreas, Thomas and Axel took action to expand the family business. In 2002 the entire management was handed over to them. Even if times has changed since then, we still remain faithfull to the foil wrapping section. Meanwhile we are one of Europes leading specialist suppliers of lock bags of any kind. These include: ziplock bags, pull lock bags, drawstring bags, adhesive bags and many more. Another variety of complementary products can be found in our product range. Immediate delivery , professional advice and always an open ear for troubleshooting are mandatory objectives for us as one of the largest importers for ziplock bags in Europe.
