Chengdu Prospecting Machinery Factory is an old factory established in 1956, which is an institution subordinate to Sichuan Geological and Mineral Exploration and Development Bureau, and is now located in Jinniu Hi-Tech Industrial Park, Tianhui Town. "Cheng Tan" is a famous trademark of Chinese rock drilling tools, which is a necessary drilling tool for all kinds of pneumatic, hydraulic, electric and internal combustion rock drills, and is widely used in rock excavation and blasting projects in metallurgy, mining, coal, railway, transportation, water conservancy, electric power and other industries.
The drilling tools have won the Third Prize of National Technical Progress, the Golden Dragon Prize of National New Excellent Products, the First Prize of Major Scientific and Technological Achievement of the Ministry of Geology and Mining, and the Fourth Prize of Major Scientific and Technological Invention of the Ministry of Railways. ". In the successive product quality supervision and sampling tests conducted by the State Bureau of Technical Supervision, Cheng Tan's brazing bits were all qualified and ranked first for three consecutive times. In 1986, Chengdu Exploration Machinery Factory was named as a professional factory for exporting new carbide brazing bits by Sichuan Province, and in 1988, it was approved as an "Import and Export Enterprise of the People's Republic of China" by the Ministry of Foreign Economic and Trade of the State Council's Mechanical and Electrical Office. In 1997, it was granted the right to export and passed the ISO9001 quality system certification and obtained the Beijing 9000 standard and the British Crown Mark certification. In 2001, Cheng Tan Factory was awarded the title of "2001 A Grade Honorable Enterprise of Foreign Exchange Receiving Work" by the Sichuan Branch of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange and the Sichuan Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Department. In 2003, Cheng Tan Factory was also awarded as "Top 30 Best Benefit Enterprises of Special Equipment Manufacturing Industry in Sichuan Province" by Sichuan Bureau of Statistics and Sichuan Economic and Trade Commission.
